Ross began his career with Ernst & Young in San Francisco where his five-year tenure focused on developing a working methodology for the computer audit group. Later, at Computer Associates (CA), Ross developed the wildly successful US ACCPAC software consultants program. Ross moved to Australia for CA to lead the development of the ‘Micro Products’ channel. After only 3 years, ACCPAC became the 2nd highest selling accounting software package. In the early 90s Ross and George Brown joined forces to create a sales and marketing training company. Now with SALESWORKS, Ross’ extensive experience in systems analysis and sales process engineering enable him to rapidly develop and execute flexible technology implementations. Ross’ special talents include the creation of comprehensive, online workflow diagrams, which provide point and click access to all diagnostic tools a company would need. For almost 30 years, Ross has worked to improve channel management and develop sales and delivery methodologies for software partners worldwide. As a major player in the development of the Navision A/S implementation methodology (portions of which have since been converted to the Microsoft Sure Step Methodology), Ross maintains an extensive understanding of what it takes to run a successful practice. Ross holds degrees in accounting and computer science from the University of California and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Daniel Brown is currently General Manager of R & D at the MDCC. He is responsible for worldwide development of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics C5 products. Previously, Mr. Brown was Product Unit Manager for Microsoft Dynamics AX, both on the application and development platform and Director of Program Management for Microsoft’s Business Framework Group. He has been with Microsoft since May of 2002. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Brown held the VP of Engineering position at Rivio Corporation, a provider of web-based services to small to medium sized businesses. Given the role after Rivio acquired NetAbacus, a company he helped co-found, he lead technical and operational strategy initiatives as a member of the company’s executive team. Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, all from Stanford University. He has been a Board Member of the Copenhagen International School since 2009. Together with his wife, Stephanie, and three sons, Northern, Denver, and Koah, he lives in Hellerup, Denmark. Niels-Erik Hansen was responsible for the business part of the scopes for Dynamics NAV 4.0, 5.0 and 2009 and has been deeply involved the RTC strategy development. He moved to the Dynamics NAV team as an Software Architect in 2006. Thomas has a passion for architecture, quality and performance which drives the work that he does. Before joining Microsoft in 2003 Thomas had his own software company which has been doing a variety of software - from the popular Danish word-processing/database systems DSI-TEXT and DSI-SYSTEM (dated around 1985-1990) to bowling administrating software (2003). Today Thomas's holds the position as Principal Software Architect on Dynamics NAV (CTO). In his spare time, Thomas likes to fly airplanes and actually he was an airline pilot for 4 years but that's another story.

Kim Ibfelt holds a Master of Science degree from the Technical University of Denmark (1989). Since his graduation Kim has been working with many different aspects of IT in companies like IBM, Rambøll, Navision, and Microsoft ranging from Sales, Technical Support, Professional Services, Project Management and General Management. In the last 10 years his primary focus has been managing Software Development projects on a variety of platforms and in different business environments. His current position with Microsoft is Director of Program Management for Microsoft Dynamics NAV at the Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen (MDCC). Kim’s main area of interest is how one can obtain predictability, quality, effectiveness and creativity in software development at the same time using proper and balanced sets of processes and tools. Kim is convinced that these characteristics go hand in hand even though he understands that he in this connection might represent a minority. Kim joined Microsoft in the acquisition of Navision in 2002. Prior to this position, he was working on the Navision 'Next Generation project' codenamed Jamaica that was pursuing a pure modeling approach to business solution development and customization and even if Jamaica was shut down as a part of the project consolidation following the acquisition, to Kim's pleasure the DNA of the project is part of many of the innovations in the Microsoft Dynamics suite. Before joining Navision in 1999, Kim was department manager in the Danish consultancy company Rambøll with focus on IT- and Project Management. In this position Kim also had the opportunity to work as Project Manager for a number of large IT-development projects with an online web-catalog for a global shipping company and a standard system for managing the primary health care in Danish municipalities. Before being appointed dept. mgr. Kim worked as a consultant. Kim's first job was with IBM where he worked as Systems Engineer and Sales Representative for 4 years. Kim graduated in 89 as M.Sc. in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark with a dissertation on the use of Artificial Intelligence in Project Management. Kim used to be an able tennis player but is finding it very difficult to wedge in time for this between his job, playing with his two children Amanda (8) and Jonathan (5) and spending time with his wife Jeanne.

Philippe Jacobsen has worked as NAV SCM program manager since 1999, including three years in Navision before its acquisition by Microsoft. He has extensive knowledge of the distribution and warehouse management areas in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. For the 5.0 release, his efforts were focused on the Item Tracking Enhancements project. For the 2009 release, he focused on Role Centres and the new navigation design. For the 2009 SP1 release, he focused on improving the warehouse management area with enhancements and by merging released hot fixes. Philippe holds a M.Sc. degree from the Technical University of Copenhagen, 1985, and he is CPIM certified. He represents Microsoft at the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC).

John is a self-proclaimed NAVangelist and has been very active in the channel. John is one of the founders of Directions, serves on several Microsoft Advisory Councils, and earns his keep by connecting his firm to Microsoft. John began his own accounting firm in 1983 focusing on small and growing businesses. In 1996 he merged his firm into Sikich Gardner & Co to create the Small Business Unit within this regional accounting firm. After the merger of Intelligent Computer Solutions into Sikich in 1998, John moved into technology in order to bring an accountant's perspective to ERP system sales and implementation. Now a recovered accountant, he splits his time between guiding the Sikich NAV team, managing the firm's international footprint, and interlacing the firm with Microsoft.
Kralstein, Sheldon

Sheldon Kralstein's entrance into the software industry was in 1974 where he co-founded MDCR Inc. MDCR was formed to design and create one of the first spreadsheet programs for IBM mainframe computers. The company developed, sold and marketed the product to Global Fortune 2000 companies. The product, named IMPACT, became a major player and significant leader in the spreadsheet and decision support marketplace. Mr. Kralstein was Vice President of Sales and Marketing and drove sales for 10 years. With the rapid adoption of the personal computer, Mr. Kralstein left MDCR to engage in the new challenges of the PC Industry. In 1984, he founded Xecutec Business Systems. Xecutec represented numerous Mid-Market ERP packages including MAS90/200, Great Plains, Accpac, SBT, Realworld, MC Software, Macola, Telemagic, Goldmine, and others. Xecutec soon became a top reseller and won numerous awards. As President and CEO, Mr. Kralstein created sales and marketing strategies that led the company to national recognition. In 1997, Kralstein and Mark Chinsky, CEO of Ontrack Consulting, created one of the early mergers and formed XecuTrack Accounting Systems. This organization was one of the earliest "Super VAR's" with 5 offices, 50 employees and revenues of $8.66 Million. They were not only the #1 Sage Software VAR, but also became the fastest growing Navision VAR in 1998 and 1999 with 48, new sales and implementations. In 1999, Mr. Kralstein was one of the original founders of The Aston Group (North America). In early 2000, he sold Xecutec to Aston and went on to drive the Eastern Region as a Vice President and member of the senior management team. In 2001, Mr. Kralstein became Aston's North American VP of Sales. In October of 2002, Mr. Kralstein founded Success Driven By Technology (SDbT), where he brought a wealth of knowledge and experience helping businesses become more successful marketing and selling business technology solutions. A group of SDbT's clients were interested in forming a National Practice and Clients First Business Solutions was born. Mr. Kralstein accepted the position of CEO on August 1, 2004.

Per Mogensen is the founder of Mergetool.com and the lead developer of the Mergetool product. He holds a Master of Science degree from the Technical University of Denmark. In 1992, Mogensen began working for PC&C A/S, which later became the Danish enterprise software company Navision A/S in Denmark (later acquired by Microsoft). One of Mogensen’s early assignments was to develop the character-based version of the Navision application. He was also responsible for localization and release of the software for five countries in Europe. Mogensen was later responsible for developing VAT/TAX and distribution functionality and many other features included in Navision Financials 1.1 and later. After leaving Navision, Mogensen worked for ExpandIT Solutions developing web-application and add-on products for Navision and Axapta. In the past, he has worked with partners to help them leverage more of the Microsoft stack and incorporate this into their Dynamics practices such as SharePoint, SQL Reporting Services, Excel Reporting Services, etc. Dan has also been the Western Region lead for Dynamics ERP Hosting and has assisted with building competitive information on NetSuite, Intacct, and other hosted ERP solutions. He works out of our Microsoft campus in Mountain View, CA.
